Club Shuga is an original Harlem Renaissance musical created by Darius West, weaving live musical theater, cinematic storytelling, music, memory, and the spirit of 1935 Spanish Harlem.

Set between Mae West's Juke Joint in Greenwood and the bright lights of Harlem, Club Shuga follows lifelong friends as they chase music, love, and a future bigger than the world they came from.

Featuring original music, dynamic choreography, and a story built on friendship, ambition, and betrayal, Club Shuga captures the energy of the Harlem Renaissance through a blend of live performance and cinematic memory. First performed in 2006, Club Shuga is being reimagined for a new generation.
